Originally from a small town in southeastern New Mexico, I always knew a mountain town was in my future. For the past 14 years, Flagstaff has been home. I live in my cozy blue house with my three spectacular kiddos — AnnieO, Stella Bella, and John-John. When life gives us a breather, you’ll find us spending time with family and close friends, venturing downtown to our favorite food-patio spots, catching local events, and saying a big YASSS to a good concert. And when the weather is right, we live outside until the sun goes down.
I learned the basics of sewing at just six years old from my grandmother Betty, a competitive quilter, alongside my mom, Karen. As I grew, sewing became where my creative brain came alive — especially during seasons of life that felt more difficult. It became both an outlet and a steady grounding place for me.
Shortly after moving back to Arizona, I met a woman named Barb at a Thanksgiving “leftovers” gathering. She had years of seamstress experience and a generous heart to teach a young, willing apprentice. That meeting quietly changed everything. I apprenticed under Barb for two and a half years, and when it was time, she encouraged me to spread my wings. I’ve been sewing professionally since 2009.
At 25, I opened my own sewing business and said yes to just about everything — home décor, custom environmental projects, outdoor and river gear, jean zippers, repairs, leather jackets, formal wear… you name it. I loved the challenge of making things possible and figuring things out. Over time, I was naturally drawn more and more into bridal. I’ve now transformed hundreds of wedding dresses — no two ever alike — and this space has become both my deepest expertise and my greatest passion.
My intention is simple: that every individual who walks through my door feels seen and heard. I want you to feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful as your truest self. I want this process to feel connected, grounded, and memorable — not stressful. I want you to breathe easy working together. I want your experience to be what I would want mine to be.
