HI! I’m Steph…

Originally from a small town in southeastern New Mexico. From a young age, I knew a mountain town was in my future. Flagstaff has been Home for the last 14 years. I live in my cozy blue house with my spectacular three kiddos, AnnieO, Stella Bella & John-John. When life gives us a breather, we love spending quality time with family & close friends, venturing downtown to our favorite food-patio spots and local events. I will always say YASSSS to a good concert. And when the weather is best, my family and I LIVE outside ‘til the sun goes down!

I was taught the basics of sewing at the young age of six from my grandmother Betty, who was a competitive quilter along with my mother, Karen. As I grew I began discovering my creative brain thru sewing, in clothing and fashion. It was a therapeutic hobby that fed me when other areas of my developing life felt difficult. Shortly after moving back to Arizona, I met a woman at a Thanksgiving “left overs” shindig. Her name was Barb. She had years of seamstress expertise under her belt and an eager heart to teach a young, willing apprentice. She was the beginning of my dreams unfolding. I apprenticed under her for 2.5 years and then she encouraged me to spread my wings. I have been sewing professionally since 2009. Opening my own sewing business at 25, I began expanding my sewing palette by taking on any and all projects: home decor, custom environmental projects, outdoor & river gear, jean zippers, any repair, leather jackets, formal wear and the list goes on. I love the challenge of making things possible and the process of figuring it out. As years passed, I was naturally drawn to bridal more and more. Since I have transformed hundreds of dresses, no two ever alike. This niche has become my expertise and my passion.

My intention is that each individual who comes to me is seen and heard during our time together. I want them to feel confident and comfortable and beautiful as their truest self. Ultimately walking away from a process that built connection and trust, that created an enjoyable and memorable experience, instead of a stressful one. I want to help you breath easy working together. I want your experience to be what I would want mine to be.
